The Process of Forming PVC Steel Wire Transparent Hose

Forming principle of transparent PVC steel wire hose


PVC steel wire hose refers to a reinforced hose that uses PVC, fiberglass, metal wire and other circular woven fabrics as the intermediate layer of the system hose to enhance its effect.


The key issue in the forming process of PVC steel wire hose is the winding of a network-like material. According to different winding methods of different fabrics, it can be divided into in-mold winding and out-of-mold winding.


Currently, most international research adopts the out-of-mold winding method, which can produce ideal transparent PVC steel wire hose.


Process design flow of transparent PVC steel wire hose


Mixing raw materials and granulating, extruding inner walls, cooling and winding, extruding outer layers, cooling, traction, light inspection, and packaging finished products.


The PVC steel wire transparent hose molding equipment consists of the main extruder, auxiliary extruder, head, air cooling device, netting device, traction device, light inspection device, and winding device.


Main and auxiliary extruders


The specification of PVC transparent steel wire hose is generally within the range of ΦL2- Φ50mm. Therefore, a Φ45mm extruder is sufficient. The extrusion screw length to diameter ratio L/D=20, divided into four sections for heating, with stepless speed regulation, and the center height of the two extruders is both 100mm.


Head (module head)


The design of the head depends on the size of the transparent PVC wire's hose specification and whether its design is reasonable, which directly affects the quality of the pipeline's forming.


Winding device


Composed of left and right warp shuttles and fixed shaft, according to the high and low of enhancing financial indicators, one or more sets of winding devices can be designed, and each set of winding devices.


Multiple left and right warp and weft lines can be designed, and both ends of the fixed shaft can be equipped with left and right shuttles, and each shuttle can be equipped with 1-5 shuttle cores.


When the driving shaft can rotate the left and right shuttles, the warp threads are wound on the inner wall of the continuously extruded PVC steel wire hose blank that has been extruded.

Cooling air ring


PVC transparent steel wire hose in China is usually water-cooled for molding, but considering that the blank extruded by I-mode will immediately enter the outer plastic covered by II-mode, the blank extruded by I-mode cannot be cooled by water, but by air.


Otherwise, the moisture on the blank will produce bubbles, affecting the product's quality. When the air is cooled, the air volume is controlled at Q=1500m3/hour, and a double-lip air ring is used.


Traction device


The traction device of transparent PVC wire hose is the same as that of ordinary hoses, and the traction device can be connected to the machine and weaving device to ensure the regularity of the mesh fabric of PVC wire transparent hose.


Light inspection and winding device


Use a light box to test the wall thickness uniformity and weaving rule of transparent PVC steel wire hose. A 60-watt fluorescent tube can be placed in the glass box. The winding device uses a friction clutch to maintain winding tension.
