Use of PU/Polyurethane Layflat Hose.
When using fire-fighting water belts, high-pressure water belts should be connected close to the pump. After filling, the water belts should be prevented from twisting or sudden bending, and the collision damage of the water belts interface should be prevented.
Laying of water belts.
When laying water belts, avoid sharp objects and various oils. When laying water belts vertically to high places, water belt hooks should be used. When laying water belts through major traffic roads, water belt bridges should be padded. When passing through railways, water belts should pass under railways to avoid water belts being damaged by wheels and intermittent water supply.
In severe winter, when water supply needs to be suspended in the fire site, in order to prevent the water zone from freezing, the pump needs to run slowly and maintain a small amount of water output.
After washing, the lay flat hose pipe should be cleaned and the foam conveyor should be carefully washed to protect the adhesive layer. In order to remove the grease on the water belt, it can be washed with warm water or soap. For the frozen water belt, first, melt it, then wash and dry it. The water belt without drying should not be stored in rolls.
Maintenance : The quality of PU/Polyurethane Layflat Hose has a direct impact on combat effectiveness. Maintenance must be strengthened in the use process. Fire-fighting water belts should be managed by special personnel to prevent unnecessary damage. All water belts should be classified and numbered according to quality, so as to master the use of water belts. The fire hose shall not be placed outdoors in the sun, rain or near the heat source for a long time, so as to prevent ageing, pollution of corrosive and viscous substances, proper temperature and good ventilation shall be provided at the storage place, the hose shall be rolled up in a single layer, turned over or folded alternately several times a year when it is placed vertically on the hose rack or reel, friction between the hose with the vehicle shall be avoided, and folding shall be exchanged if necessary.
