KC Nipple (King Combination Nipple) is a threaded hose fitting used to connect hoses to pipes, valves, or equipment. It is commonly found in low-pressure suction and discharge lines – such as agricultural irrigation, construction dewatering, and industrial fluid transfer. The threaded ends match the hose ID (e.g. a 4" nipple fits a 4" hose), making connections quick and reliable.

The working pressure of a KC nipple cannot be determined by the fitting alone. It depends on the nipple size and material, hose construction and pressure rating, end connection, clamp or ferrule system, transferred medium, operating temperature, and installation conditions.
The maximum allowable working pressure of a complete hose assembly must not exceed the rating of its lowest-rated component. For example, even if the KC nipple has a higher pressure capability, the finished assembly must be operated according to the lower rating of the hose, clamp, thread connection, or other component.
Larger KC nipples may have lower recommended working pressures than smaller sizes. Suction and vacuum performance should also be evaluated separately from positive working pressure. Pressure surges, vibration, hose movement, and temperature changes may further reduce the safe operating limit.
