Ground Joint Male Spuds can be used to connect female ground joint hose couplings to threaded manifolds, valves, and equipment. Thread the NPT side to any pipe threaded connection and then swivel a female ground joint wing nut onto the other end.
One side is NPT male and other side mates with special ground joint wing nut thread.
only use with ground joint female couplings (do not use if female swivel requires an external gasket)
1-1/4" and larger sizes are plated iron, smaller sizes are plated steel
3/4" & 1" use the same wing nut thread, and 1-1/4 & 1-1/2" use the same wing nut thread
