Why is the Outer Layer of Hydraulic Rubber Hose Pipe Damaged?

1. The composition of hydraulic rubber hose pipes

Hydraulic rubber hose pipe is mainly composed of liquid-resistant inner rubber layer, middle rubber layer, 2 or 4 or 6 layers of steel wire winding reinforcement layer, and outer rubber layer. The inner rubber layer has the function of making the conveying medium bear pressure and protecting the steel wire from corrosion. The outer rubber layer protects the steel wire from damage, and the steel wire layer is the framework material for reinforcement.

2. Why is the outer rubber layer of the hydraulic rubber hose pipe damaged?

(1) The temperature is low, the temperature of the object drops sharply, and the hydraulic rubber hose pipe is no exception. Once the surface of the hose cracks, the hose will bend. If any cracks are found on the outside of the hose, please observe whether there are cracks in the inner rubber of the hose and decide whether to replace the hose immediately.

(2) Blisters appear on the rubber layer of the hose. Due to poor quality or incorrect use of the hose, blisters appear on the outside of the hose. If blistering occurs in the middle section of the hose, it is mainly due to the quality of hose production. Replace qualified hoses in time. If air bubbles appear at the hose joint, it may be caused by improper installation of the joint.

(3) The hydraulic rubber hose pipe is not broken, but there is a lot of oil leakage. If the hose is not broken, but a large amount of oil is leaking, the reason is that when the hose flows through the high-pressure liquid, the internal rubber layer is eroded and scratched until the steel wire layer leaks out in a large area and causes a large amount of oil leakage.

(4) The outer rubber layer of the hose is severely deteriorated, and microcracks appear on the surface. This is a manifestation of the natural aging of the hose after being used for too long.
