What is Pvc Fiber Reinforced Hose? Poisonous?

PVC fiber reinforced hose is mainly used for agricultural irrigation and spraying, and it can be seen everywhere in daily life. However, many people don't know much about it. SUZHOU SEAPEAK CO.,LTD specializes in the development and production of PVC series hoses. Among them, PVC fiber reinforced hoses are also one of our products that we have produced and sold for many years.

1. What is PVC fiber reinforced hose?

PVC fiber reinforced hose is also called PVC mesh pipe, suitable for the transportation of pressurized or corrosive gas and liquid, and is widely used in machinery, coal mines, petroleum, chemical industry, irrigation, construction, civil (solar water heaters, Gas tank) and other fields. It is also widely used for watering gardens and lawns. It is mainly composed of automatic feeders, extruders, spray tanks, tractors, winding machines, hot melt machines, and winders.

2. Is the smell of PVC fiber reinforced hose toxic?

If it refers to the hose where the PVC plasticizer is volatile, the hose plasticizer is mainly dioctyl ester, dimethyl ester, etc., this kind of plasticizer is basically non-toxic. If there are special requirements, we can also produce food-grade hose pipes.

3. How do the two layers of PVC inside and outside of the PVC fiber-reinforced hose bond so firmly?

Co-extrusion produced by two extruders. Extrude the inner tube first, then weave the reinforcing fiber through the braiding machine, and then extrude the outer tube through the second extruder die.

The screw rib depth of the extruder is gradual. It is divided into feeding section, compression section, melting section, homogenization section. The raw material enters the feeding section, becomes soft when heated, and is pushed forward by the screw to the compression section. The temperature in this section should be set higher. In the feeding section, it begins to melt, and in the next two sections, it reaches its plasticization, and it is extruded through a die. The temperature is still high and the surface is very sticky. When the inner tube passes through the outer tube die (the temperature of the soft product is above 120℃), the outer surface melts and naturally combines with the raw materials of the second extruder.
