Suzhou Seapeak Co., Ltd. manufactures EN 14540-compliant EPDM-lined fire hoses with high-strength polyester jackets, offering 1.0–2.25MPa working/test pressures and 4.5MPa burst strength. Available in 3/4"–6" diameters & multiple colors (red, black, blue, etc.), these leak-proof hoses undergo rigorous pressure/torsion testing. Ideal for industrial/firefighting use, with 60m max length. Peeling/adhesion tests ensure durable bonding between lining & jacket.
A non-percolating, layflat fire hose designed for firefighting applications. The hose is constructed with a high-strength polyester fiber single jacket and a durable EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber lining, ensuring reliability and longevity.
Jacket: High-strength polyester fiber

To guarantee product integrity and safety, every hose undergoes a rigorous pressure test before leaving the factory. The procedure is as follows:
Preparation: The fire hose is connected to a water pump, filled with water, and all air is vented before sealing the free end.
Initial Pressurization & Torsion:
Pressure is maintained at 0.07 MPa.
The hose is bent 180° at its midpoint.
The free end is tied as close as possible to the opposite end to create strong torsion.
Proof Pressure Test: The internal pressure is increased to the specified Test Pressure (e.g., 2.25 MPa for the EN 14540 series).
Hold & Inspection: The test pressure is held for a duration of 60 seconds. During this time, the hose is carefully inspected for any signs of leakage, damage, or deformation.
Completion: The hose only passes inspection if it remains free of defects throughout the test.
As one of China's most professional FIRE HOSE manufacturers, we hope to welcome more customer inquiries.
Question 1: What is the maximum length of the EPDM-lined fire hose produced by your company?
Our firefighting hoses have a maximum length of 60 meters.
Question 2: How many types of adhesives are typically used in your EPDM-lined fire hose production?
We use both solid adhesives and liquid adhesives.
Question 3: How is the adhesive strength of the hose tested?
The hose should be cut to 25.5mm–24.5mm at the correct angle along its longitudinal axis.
For ring-shaped hoses, a transverse cut should be made, and the unfolded strip should resemble a belt.
The peeling speed should be 55–45 mm/min.
If high peel strength prevents separation between the lining and the hose body during testing, this is acceptable as a pass.
