Double Layer PVC Layflat Hose

Based on the requirements of European customers, we have developed a new double-layer PVC layflat hose. Typically, the inner layer is black, while the outer layer comes in colors such as blue, yellow, and others.

This PVC layflat hose is manufactured using high-strength polyester filament yarns woven under high-temperature conditions while simultaneously extruding PVC particles, resulting in a premium-quality hose. By adjusting the warp and weft density of the weave, we produce plastic-coated hoses with varying pressure ratings. Hoses sized 1" to 4" achieve a burst pressure of 450 PSI, while 6" and 8" hoses reach approximately 360 PSI.

Our standard hose length is 100 meters per roll, but we can customize lengths according to customer specifications. While a 200-meter roll is theoretically feasible, it results in a lower yield rate. Additionally, due to the excessive weight making packaging and handling difficult, the longest hose we have produced is 250 meters.

This PVC layflat hose is lightweight and easy to transport, making it convenient for farmers to lay out in fields. The 4" and 6" sizes serve as main irrigation lines and can be connected to drip tapes using drip irrigation fittings. It also functions as the primary delivery hose for water pumps, commonly paired with 2" or 3" PVC layflat hoses.

We enhanced the product’s abrasion resistance by reducing plasticizer content and opting for high molecular weight/polymeric plasticizers. Simultaneously, the helical rib pattern on the surface reduces contact area, shifting sliding friction to rolling friction. As a result, our PVC layflat hose is extensively used in demanding environments such as mining operations in South America.
