What Are the Specific Basis for the Selection of High Pressure Rubber Tubing Materials?

1. The basis for the selection of high pressure rubber tubing materials


Many factories now use high pressure rubber tubing, which are used in mine hydraulic supports, oilfield development, engineering construction, lifting and transportation, metallurgical forging, mining equipment, ships, injection molding machinery, agricultural machinery, and other places.

So do we know the specific basis for the selection of high pressure rubber tubing materials?

(1) The quality must be grasped well

Among the oil tube we use, there is also a series of high pressure tubing, which is what we often call high pressure rubber tubing. There is a requirement for pressure, so materials for steel wire reinforcement layer, which is the load-bearing layer must be selected well.

(2) From the working environment of the oil tube

There are projects in the open air environment, on machinery and equipment, on the ground, etc.. Taking these factors into consideration, when we are choosing the material of the high pressure rubber tubing, we should take into account the characteristics of anti-aging and wear resistance.

(3) From the perspective of economic indicators of oil tube

We must start from the economy, that is, use less money and produce more output value. We must consider the stable performance of the material, the rationality of the formula, and the cost-effectiveness of the formula material.

(4) Considering the safety factors of oil tube

We must also take into account the requirements of the normal working environment of the tubing, and consider the antistatic, flame-retardant, and normal pressure resistance of the high pressure rubber tubing. The materials involved in this aspect should be selected well. Some important materials that are required in many aspects are more important.


2. How to use high pressure rubber tubing?


If the high pressure rubber tubing is damaged, it is usually due to improper use. Today, I will focus on the precautions for the use of the high pressure rubber tubing:

(1) Do not twist the high pressure rubber tubing when installing the high pressure rubber tubing, otherwise it will cause damage to the high pressure rubber tubing or cause loose joints.   

(2) When the bending radius of the high pressure rubber tubing is too small, a right-angle joint is usually used to prevent sharp bends and distortions of the high pressure rubber tubing.

(3) During normal operation, the valve stem of the rubber pipe should not be pulled too strongly, otherwise it will cause the high pressure rubber tubing to burst.   

(4) In order to prevent the high pressure rubber tubing from being damaged and the flow rate restricted, the bending radius of the high pressure rubber tubing should be enlarged as much as possible.  

(5) When the hydraulic system is at work, if the temperature rise is too high, the high pressure rubber tubing should be checked in time, and the necessary cooling measures should be taken during successive work.

(6) There should be a certain space for the high pressure rubber tubing between the installation objects to prevent the high pressure rubber tubing from colliding with the object when it is working. If it cannot be prevented, try to do some protection.
